Welcome to the official website of 1Wave DJs™  As the  founder, I wanted to offer a premium DJ service that focuses on keeping you and your guests on the dance floor. 

I started in at 10 years old playing drums, and then working my way up as a stage hand in Arizona and kept performing in projects I created across the globe. Places like Japan, where I served in the US Navy and provided MWR in the form of a rock band Secret of the Ooze, to the metal band Kin of the Zen in Tempe, to Kronie Rock Band in Traverse City is where I gained popularity and learned how to entertain. 

I have always been excited to put on shows for people, and I started focusing on what got them on the dance floor after I fell in love with DJing around 2021. I had been focused on opening up my Martial Arts Kali Studio but with years of performing, and audio and lighting experience, I wanted to apply it. I used my education from Mesa Community College in audio production, and my discipline from Filipino Fighting systems, the military, and yoga, and applied it to live sound reinforcement. 

I have worked with big names and venues in the music industry such as Lady Gaga, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Kid Rock and Kenny Olson, NBA Allstars, T.I. , Diana Ross, Jethro Tull, Eric Church, Boz Scaggs and Michael MacDonald, Jeff Loomis, Agent Orange, Interlochen Center for the Arts, World Youth Sympony Orchestra, Dwight Yokam, Walk the Moon, The Roots, Superbowl 48. 

I have been the DJ/MC slash guitarist, drummer, bassist, sound engineer, lighting specialist, stage hand, and have entertained for numerous weddings from Bayview at Gallagher Farms, to Portage Point Inn, Blackstar Farms, and also ladies nights downtown at Union Street Station, Great Wolf Lodge NYE Parties and family dance parties, Alzhiemers Association, Grand Traverse Resorts including Turtle Creek and Leelanau Sands Showroom, Charlevoix Venetian Festival, The Delamar Traverse City, Crystal Mountain Resort weddings plus warrior veteran events, everything from birthday parties to corporate parties with Comfort Keepers and Boost Mobile. 

I continue to produce and release EDM hits in my spare time to bring you original beats and mashups, so we can't wait to see you get down and boogie!
